Alexander Rolle, MA, LPC-R
Licensed Professional Counselor-Resident in Counseling
Alexander is passionate about approaching wellness with a holistic view and seeing clients in the fullness of their experience, working authentically together in the process. He attributes his dynamic perspective to his own journey in life and the work he’s been able to do with diverse populations during his experience as a clinician so far. He was born and raised in The Bahamas and meets his clients with cultural humility, using an intersectional approach to understand the depth of what his clients may be going through. Alexander has experience working with adolescents, college students, adults, couples, groups, and families. He has extensive experience working with Division 1 athletes and provides the opportunity to focus on mental performance and improving cognitive resilience.
Alexander is able to offer support in various areas including anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, athletic/performance concerns (e.g. performance anxiety, injuries), identity, relationship issues, and other clinical issues and diagnoses. As you build on each session, he hopes to be able to equip you with the tools you need to feel empowered. Alexander prioritizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach when working with individuals. One of his main interests as a counselor is helping people build better self-awareness about their experiences in the world to make choices that are aligned with their personal and professional goals. He is able to pull effectively from various modalities in collaboration with the client to reach their goals during their time together, including acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive approaches, narrative therapy, mindfulness strategies, and various creative/art interventions.
He looks forward to meeting with you and exploring if he would be a good fit for the work you’d like to accomplish through our services!
